Yes, we have some very exciting things happening:

  1. We will introduce a new Tartan 36 at the Annapolis Boat Show next fall. The 36 will be a Tim Jackett designed yacht. We will have specs and drawings posted on our site very soon.
  2. We have formally introduced our Legacy by Tartan Power power line and are producing Hulls  32-51, 32-52 and 32-53 this Spring. We are also building a Legacy by Tartan 42 and will introduce the new Legacy by Tartan 36 this year.
  3. We have also recently expanded our Carbon Fiber Mast production and are building Masts for the first time for owners of any Sailboat brand who wish to have a mast that is lighter and stronger than their current aluminum mast. These masts are being produced by our wholly-owned Aspire Spars and Components company.
  4. We have had a lot of recent success in Southern California with our new Tartan 101 ( 5 new owners and several racing victories!!); however we haven't had any new traditional Tartan models purchased since 2012.
  5. We are now one of the very few boat builders in the world laminating all of our glass hulls now in Clear Gel-Coat. The confidence we have in our lamination process allows for full transparency on the part of a discerning, new yacht buyer.
  6. In case anyone is interested, our best deals with respect to new purchases continue to be where we are able to provide maximum trade value on any existing Tartan in return for a new Tartan 43 purchase. This continues to be the case because of our ability to quickly sell the Tartan trade combined with the building efficiencies associated with the 43.
Please feel free to call me anytime with suggestions for how we can improve!
